Self-Awareness

Self-Awareness
Self-Awareness is one of the five CASEL competencies. Self-Awareness is defined as, "The ability to understand one’s own emotions, thoughts, and values and how they influence behavior across contexts" (CASEL).

Examples of Self-Awareness Ideas:

  • Choice Assignments

  • Assignments about Identity

  • Journaling

  • Goal Setting Activities
